Shannon Stovall is an interdisciplinary artist whose work utilizes painting, video, performance, and collaboration. Originally from San Diego, CA, but considers San Francisco her second home. She has a BFA in painting from San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts. Her work has been featured in Studio Visit Magazine's Volume 36, and has been exhibited in group shows at Root Division and Book & Job gallery in San Francisco, CA, as well as Parallel Performance Space, and SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York City. Additionally, she has been an artist in residence at the Visual Arts of Chautauqua Institution. Shannon currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
