Lydia Goldbeck is an interdisciplinary artist from North Carolina, currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her MFA from SUNY Purchase. They have shown their work across the USA, and has received a fellowship to attend residency at the Vermont Studio Center. Their work is fed by her experience as both an anxious lesbian raised in the bible belt and a sensitive butch doing manual labor in NYC.
