Shelton Studios Inc. was formed in 2000 by sculptor Gabrielle Shelton. A Los Angeles native, and LA County HS for the Arts graduate, Gabrielle earned her BFA at the Art Institute of Chicago before moving to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 1995. Shelton Studios operates out of a 2500 sq. ft. studio in Greenpoint and focuses on the tradition of craft as it applies to both functional and decorative objects.

Shelton Studios Inc specializes in structural and architectural metal fabrication. The studio works closely with architects, designers, artists and contractors to produce and coordinate the specialized needs of each project. Services include fabrication, machining, and finishing. Materials used are carbon steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, zinc, copper, iron and stainless steel.

In addition to commissioned work, Shelton also serves as a high end metal consultant to architects and contractors. Gabrielle continues to produce her line of custom library ladders, and unique sculptures. Gabrielle has 23 years experience in the NYC construction industry and has been also making and showing her non functional sculptures for the last 28 years.
